The short version

  • We don't track your device's location. The app has no location permission.
  • There are no advertising or analytics SDKs, and we never sell data.
  • We handle the work data needed to run your jobs: your driver profile, trips, earnings, expenses, vehicle documents and payout details.
  • You can delete your account in the app, or request deletion online.

Introduction

Here2There Driver (package com.h2tdriver.app) is the driver app for the Here2There dispatch platform. Chauffeurs and ground transport drivers use it to receive job offers, run trips, record earnings and expenses, and keep vehicle paperwork current. Here2There is developed and operated by UnitasPro ("we", "our" or "us").

Here2There Driver is a work app, not a passenger app. You need an account issued by the transport operator you drive for, and accounts can't be created inside the app. Because the app exists to do a job of work, it handles real personal data: your own as a driver, and that of the passengers you carry.

This policy applies to Here2There Driver on Android and iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. If you have questions about these practices, please contact us using the details below.

Information we collect and how we use it

Account and sign-in

Your sign-in details are sent to the Here2There server to verify your identity. When sign-in succeeds, an authentication token is returned and stored locally on your device so the app can authenticate later requests. The token is removed when you sign out.

Your driver profile

The details an operator needs to lawfully put you on a job:

  • Name, email address and phone number
  • Driving licence number, state and expiry date
  • Date of birth
  • Emergency contact name and phone number
  • Profile photo, if you upload one
  • Your rating, completed trip count and passenger reviews

Jobs and trips

To offer you work and record what you did, the app handles:

  • Job offers, bookings and their reference numbers
  • Pickup and drop-off addresses, and scheduled times
  • Passenger name, phone number and party size
  • Flight details and special requirements
  • Trip status changes you record, with timestamps
  • Notes you attach to a job, and messages with your operator

Payout details, earnings and expenses

So your operator can pay you, you can save your bank account details (account name, BSB and account number). These are stored on the Here2There server, are visible to the operator's authorised staff who process your payments, and are used only to pay your earnings.

The app also records your earnings, fare breakdowns and the expenses you log, such as fuel, tolls, parking, cleaning and maintenance. We never handle passenger card numbers or CVVs.

Vehicles and documents

  • Make, model, year, colour and registration number of the vehicles you drive
  • Registration certificate, insurance and compliance documents
  • Document expiry dates, so the app can warn you before anything lapses

Uploaded documents are visible to the operator responsible for verifying them.

Photos you take or attach

Where the app lets you attach an image, such as a proof-of-completion photo, a document scan or your profile picture, it opens your device's own camera or photo picker. Only the image you take or pick is read. It is compressed and attached to that record. The app has no standing access to your photo library.

Availability and status

Whether you are online or offline, the daily start and end times you set, and which operators each schedule applies to. This records the hours you choose, not where you are.

Push notifications

Where enabled, your device issues a push token so job offers and trip alerts can reach you. The token is an identifier for your device's app installation. It can't be used to read anything on your device. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

Technical data

Like any networked app, requests to our server include standard technical details: IP address, app version and device platform. These may appear in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

Information we don't collect

  • No device location. Here2There Driver does not request location permission and does not track your phone's position: not during a trip, not in the background and not while you are online. The app shows maps and can pass an address to your navigation app, but the route you drive is never recorded. Addresses come from the booking, never from your GPS.
  • No passenger card details. The app records that a fare was earned and how much. We never receive passenger card numbers or CVVs.
  • No advertising or analytics. There are no advertising, attribution or analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers (GAID or IDFA) and no ad networks.
  • No other access. No microphone, contacts or calendar access, no photo library scanning and no reading of other apps' data.
  • No selling. We never sell personal data to anyone.

Who controls the data

The app holds personal data belonging to more than one person, so this distinction matters:

  • The transport operator you drive for is the data controller for booking and passenger records, and for your driver record with them. They decide what is collected, why and how long it is kept.
  • UnitasPro provides the Here2There software and hosting, and acts as a data processor on that operator's instructions.

If you drive for more than one operator, each one controls only the records that belong to its own account.

If you are a passenger and want to know what a transport company holds about you, or want it corrected or erased, please contact that company directly. They control your data, and we can only act on their instructions.

Third-party services

Here2There Driver relies on the following services, each for one specific purpose.

Sharing and disclosure

We don't sell, rent or trade personal data, and we don't share it for anyone's advertising. We share data only:

  • With the operator you drive for. Your profile, documents, availability, trip statuses, proof photos, earnings, expense claims and payout details are visible to that operator's authorised staff.
  • With passengers, in limited form. An operator may share your first name, vehicle details and rating with the passenger expecting you. Your phone number and personal documents are not shared with passengers.
  • With the service providers in section 5, only so the app can work.
  • Where the law requires it, such as a valid legal request or court order, or to protect against fraud, abuse or a threat to someone's safety.
  • On a change of ownership. If the business is transferred, data may transfer with it, subject to this policy.

Retention and deletion

Trip, earnings and expense records are kept while your account with an operator is active, and afterwards for as long as that operator's retention rules and legal or tax obligations require. Payment and earnings records usually have to be kept for several years by law.

  • Signing out deletes the stored authentication token from your device.
  • Uninstalling the app removes all app data from your device.
  • Deleting your account removes it from the Here2There platform. See section 8.

Signing out or uninstalling does not delete records from the server. Completed trip and payment records may be kept after account deletion where an operator is legally required to keep them.

How to delete your account

You can delete your driver account and the data linked to it. You don't need the app installed to make a request.

In the app

  1. Open Here2There Driver and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Choose Delete account and confirm.

Without the app

Email support@unitaspro.com from the email address on your account, with the subject Delete my Here2There Driver account. Include your full name, the phone number on your account and the operator you drive for. We will confirm the request is from you, let your operator know, and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted, and what is kept

We delete your sign-in details, driver profile, licence details, emergency contact, profile photo, vehicle details and documents, payout bank details, availability schedules and push tokens.

Completed trip, earnings, payment and expense records are kept by your operator for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually several years, and are then deleted.

Security

  • Your authentication token is stored locally on your device and is removed when you sign out or clear the app's local data.
  • All traffic to the Here2There server is sent over HTTPS.
  • Access requires an account issued by an operator. There is no public sign-up.
  • Access to job and passenger records is limited to the operator account that issued them.
  • You can change your password at any time from your profile.

No system is perfectly secure. Please protect your account with a strong password, don't share your login, and keep your device locked and up to date.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal data, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to how it is used, withdraw consent, or receive it in a portable form.

Drivers can correct most of their own details directly in the app, and can contact us or their operator about anything else. Passengers should contact the transport company that took their booking, as explained in section 4. We respond to verified requests within the time required by applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Australia, that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

International data transfers

The Here2There server and the services in section 5 may process data in countries other than your own. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law, and the data stays subject to this policy and to your operator's instructions as data controller.

Children's privacy

Here2There Driver is a professional work tool for licensed adult drivers. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child's data has reached us, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also tell you through an in-app notice or through your operator. Please review this page periodically for the latest information about our data practices.
